How The Online Auction Works

Please read the rules carefully!! The Online Auction will be open for bidding on 9:00am EST Monday, April 17th, 2008 and will close at 10pm EST on Sunday, May 4th, 2008.

  • To participate, you must register online and use a paddle number.
  • Paddle numbers and Passwords are only sent via email after registration to the email address entered on the registration page.
  • Once you receive your paddle number, you may bid on any item(s) as often as you like.
  • Starting bids are the minimum bids that will be accepted.
  • You will receive email confirmation for each of your bids.
  • Each item has a stated Bid Increment which must be followed for all bidding.  This Bid Increment is the minimum amount by which you may increase an item’s bid. 
  • The highest bid at 10pm EST Sunday, May 4th, 2008 constitutes the winning bid.
  • MMS assumes no risk, liability or responsibility for any item.  All items are sold “where is” and “as is.”
  • Donors are not liable for any occurrence resulting from the use of auctioned items or services.
  • Successful bidders may not solicit refunds or exchanges from donors.
  • If Auction items are not picked up and paid for by Friday, May 23rd, 2008, the next highest bidder will be contacted.
  • All sales are final and subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the donor.  All goods and services expire May 5th, 2009, unless otherwise specified and/or other arrangements have been made.
  • Claims for services must give reasonable notice to donors. “Reasonable notice” means a minimum of two weeks (although a month’s notice is preferred) unless otherwise specified.
  • All Online Auction Winners will be notified by email after May 5th, 2008. 
  • Items purchased at a price in excess of fair market value are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

After receiving your "paddle number" and password, login and choose an item from the Auction Items List. Enter your bid amount. This is a sealed bid process and the prize goes to the highest bid at the close of the auction, unless the Reserve Amount is not met. You may bid as often as you like. Please see rules for more information.
