Each year, MMS is able to offer a limited number of partial financial aid awards. Funding is provided by the fundraising efforts of Morningside Montessori families.
Please note that, due to our limited funds, we do not distribute financial aid to families applying to our 2-Day Toddler Program.
Morningside Montessori School is partnered with the School & Student Services (SSS) by the National Association of Independent Schools. Families interested in applying for aid will complete an online application on SSS, after which, a Parent Financial Statement (PFS) is generated. Our admissions office redacts and prepares all applications, ensuring privacy and confidentiality. Applications are then submitted for review to the MMS Financial Aid Committee, which is composed of three to four members of Morningside Montessori School's Board of Trustees.
The Financial Aid Process
To be considered for financial aid, please complete these steps before January 13, 2017:
1. Complete your SSS application. Use the flyer below to help you complete your application.
2. Submit the following supporting documents to firstname.lastname@example.org:
a) Both parents' 2015 tax returns & W2 statements
b) Both parents' 2016 tax returns & W2 statements
Applicants who are offered admission to Morningside Montessori School will receive award notifications, along with admissions decisions, on March 1, 2018.
PLEASE NOTE: Only applications with the required supporting documents will be considered for financial aid.
